She has over 30 years of clinical experience in TCM internal medicine, acupuncture and gynaecology. Her area of expertise is in gynaecology, especially in the treatment of infertility. She has helped thousands of couples conceive successfully. In 2008 received an award from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine for contributing to the progression of TCM technology.

Her current research involves deciphering the mechanistic action of natural products to treat ailments related to cancer, neurological and gynaecological ailments.

He is currently the Chief Physician and Consultant in the Oncology Group of Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution, Chairman of the Continued Education Committee of the TCM Practitioners Board, Vice-President of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and Vice-President of the Oncology Committee of the WFCMS.
