Prof Shi Yin Yu

Prof. Shi graduated from Shanghai College of TCM in 1964. He was previously the Director of Shanghai Research Institute of Orthopaedics & Traumatology and President of Shuguang Hospital. He is currently the Head of Department and Advisor of the department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology at Shuguang Hospital, and tenure professor at Shuguang Hospital.

Prof. Shi has authored key reference books used by general orthopaedic doctors including "Shi Xiaoshan and Shi Youshan's Experience and Treatment in Traumatology", "Practical Clinical Handbook of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in TCM" and "Basic Manipulations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology Treatment in TCM". In addition, he has also co-authored more than ten treatises on orthopaedics & traumatology.

Prof Shi has extensive experience in the treatment of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, cervical spondylosis and lumbago using herbal medication and various TCM techniques such as Acupuncture.
